Taakeklang. An electroacoustic music duo based in Kristiansand, established by lithuanian composer Ieva Pranevičiūtė, and norwegian composer Lars Kristian Lia.

Pranevičiūtė and Lia come from different musical traditions. Pranevičiūtė holds a bachelor's and master's degree in horn performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and specializes in extended horn techniques, horn sampling, and field recordings. Lia holds a bachelor's and master's degree in electronic music from the University of Agder (UiA), and has focused on expressing himself through use of a new generation of MPE instruments, live-sampling, and building technical solutions for live performance.

This unique combination of expertise forms the foundation for the duo's artistic expression.

In their music they create a dynamic sonic universe that shifts between the distinct and the obscure, the minimalist and the intense, and the acoustic and the processed.
